You're gonna see some big changes around here!

Hello gals! ☆^(*･ω･)ﾉ゜+。*゜+。

I've been neglecting my duties as a blogger, I know I have, I know. Bad Holly. Naughty Holly. I'll be honest though, even though I've continued to follow the Gyaru style as best I can life kinda got in the way of blogging and the community in general. I'll tell you what, the last few months have been somewhat of a rollercoaster for me! I broke up with my boyfriend (which my facebook friends will have seen), had to move out of my little house and leave my cat behind (TωT) and move back in with my parents. I started seeing someone else and you know what, we clicked. We'd been friends before my ex and I had broken up and it worked so we made things official and we'll of been together for 3 weeks as of tomorrow (๑￫ܫ￩人￫ܫ￩๑).

I'm generally trying to move on with my life and make things more positive for myself. I have been in a slump and I'm not going to lie, my anxiety has been really quite awful but my new boyfriend has been extremely supportive of me getting some help and being able to change my life for the better. I'm not going to let other people hold me back from living my life any more ~(=^‥^)ノ☆.

One thing I wanted to dedicate more time to in order to bring more positive things into my life is blogging and just Gyaru in general. Gyaru makes me happy, it makes me feel more confident in myself, even if some of the comments you get in the street are a little mean 99% of the comments I get are compliments and curiosity and that little 1% are not worth bothering with (￣ー￣). I'm going to be making a few changes around here including changing the name of the blog and the layout to fit better with how my style has progressed. As for right now, well I thought I'd make a post on exactly that, how my style has progressed from my first attempts at Gyaru to my most recent photos.

My style was generally boring. I hadn't found myself yet and I just wore whatever I could throw on. I had no co-ordination and no thought into what I wore.

Shameful, I'm not going to lie (though I do wish I was still the weight I was then, going out with a chef for 3 years really does pile on the lbs haha).

I know that I can see the progress, even though I think there's always progress to be made and that everyone should always feel like they are improving their style, except maybe the Black Diamond gals, they're already perf haha (⌒∇⌒). I don't have any pictures of outfits, again it's something my anxiety and mental health hasn't really allowed me to do, I have been far too self-concious to allow my body to be in pictures much but I'm going to start taking more pictures of myself and more pictures of my outfits to document my style （＾ω＾).

New Extensions and a bit of chatter and goals.

Hello Gals!

This may be a little bit of a long and waffle-y post so bare with me a little bit!

I said that I was doing something different with my extensions so this is my big reveal! They turned out so well that I was quite shocked. I did not think that the dye would take to them quite so well but it did so I'm happy.

This is the original colour of them just after washing them with the pre-colour shampoo (by La Riche Directions if anyone wants to buy it. It comes highly recommended by me).

This is the dye. Yes, I went for PINK! Haha. I was really inspired by some of the Black Diamond gals and their pink and silver or pink and blonde hair and some of the comments on my previous posts about my extensions helped me along with the decision. I have to say that the colour of the dye is just amazing! I really wish it was practical to have my whole hair that colour.

This is the extensions during dye-time. Although the pot says to leave it on only around 45mins I always find that that is never enough with La Riche and I tend to leave it on for about 3 hours. I have read that this is completely fine because of the fact semi-perm dye is conditioning so that's what I did with the extensions as well.

This is how them look while in, except the lighting on my camera makes my hair look blonde! It is still silver though haha. I was really pleased with how it turned out, if you'll excuse the herpy-derp face haha.

Now I want to quickly touch on my current fitness goals! I'm going to a festival on the 8th of August called Boomtown Fair that I've been wanting to go to for a while. I finally got tickets and I have to say I'm sooo excited! I can't even begin to tell you. In celebration of this (if celebration is the right word) I'm wanting to lose about 20lbs before I go so I can wear the summery clothes and feel comfortable in it all, along with the fact I've decided to dress-up for the first night as Alice in Wonderland and, lets face it, no one wants to see a chubby Alice now do they? So here are my little diet and fitness goals.

- Get back to following the Blogilates fitness calenders and work out 6 days a week.

- Eat clean and healthy food.

- No more take-aways.

- Cut down my sweet habit (I have a huge sugar addiction at the minute and eat sweets everyday... eep!). I want to only eat them once a week.

- Lose 20lbs by the 8th of August.

- Drop a Dress Size by the festival.

Merry xmas, Happy new year and all that jazz!

I know it's late but it's really hard to find the time to actually sit down and write a post. I've been doing so many things to the flat and xmas season is always busy in our family and my boyfriend's been having loads of time off. Which also means I've had barely any time to get dressed up. I've been having to run into town quickly when the electric runs out or something which leaves me pretty much no time to do my hair and make properly. I've been a normal woman for the past few weeks and I'm bored! I'm really bored. I need to bring more gyaru into my life again.

Anywho, when did I last post? Before my birthday? I think it's birthday outfit and hairmake time. Please excuse the herpy-derpy looks in these. I'd been up all night and was still pretty plastered when I took them haha, but what else are birthday's for?

OMG SO HERPY and my eyelash is falling off but yeah, you get the idea.

Caaaaake. It was actually blood gorgeous. Our oven broke otherwise my boyfriend would have baked one for me. What's the use of having a chef for a boyfriend if he doesn't make you yummy things, eh?

And now for my pressies. The following ones are the things my boyfriend got me.

Super Duper Cow Torch! We always end up running out of electric and I have to feel around in the dark for the metre key so as a joke be bought me this. Isn't it cute?!

Kitchen Scales. I love baking and I've having to measure things by eye or in terms of "cups" which is just a disaster made to happen, plus they are in my favourite colour besides pink haha.

This body scrub is actually the best thing I've ever used in terms of shower/bath things. Almost completely replaces bottled body scrub and it's recycled. I love the shape of it too. Looks so cute in our wash room.

And finally, POSH WASH! Especially for princesses! Haha. I love the bottle. The wash smells lovely but the bottle is great. I'm going to keep it and fill it up with other shower gels when it runs out.

The following things were from my parents.

Smelly pillows! They go in your drawers and make your clothes smell yummy.

Make up bag. It came with a little set of eyeshadows, a small nail-file and a lipgloss.

The rest of the stuff I will show you now in my... BRAND NEW BEDROOM TOUR! I haven't got pics of the kitchen/living room because it's still pretty masculine haha.

Our gorgeous bed (and ugly storage heater)! It came with the flat. Isn't it beautiful?! The duvet set and pillows I got for my birthday from my parents. Gorgeous aren't they?

The artwork on the wall is from my parents again. I finally have a floor-length mirror and look! We have beams!

This is one of the pressies from my boyfriend's mum. I love it! She always gets me something cupcakey. My boyfriend doesn't mind as I let him have a lot of his little posters and things around so the bedroom is a bit more of my girly things, you know?

Let me know how your xmas and new years went! We had a quiet one really, my boyfriend and I went over to his mums and had a nice meal with some of his family and then camped out in her living room and got pretty pissed. It's not the usual party I'm used to doing on NYE but it was nice to just be together. Heh, I'm such a sap!

Last thing guys and gals; we now live next door to the library and I found they stock Manga! The lady in there said they want to start stocking more and I should give her a list of any series I'd like to see in there. I've currently got out Nana and Fruits Basket (I've seen the Anime but never read the manga) and I wanted to know if any of you have any recommendations? I like things like Love Hina, Chobits, that kind of thing. Any Manga with Gyaru themes that isn't explicit? I don't really want to give that impression of myself to the local librarian haha (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑!

I'm officially an auntie!

OMG OMG OMG! I became an auntie to a gorgeous little boy yesterday morning at 2:30am. I'm so happy. What a fantastic birthday and Xmas pressie. I just cannot wait to meet him. I get to see him for the first time over xmas when we see my sister.

Isn't he just beautiful? Meep. I'm so not a baby-person but when it's part of your family it's different, you know? God I just want to cuddle him!

I need help with my birthday hair and make. This is the dress I'm going to be wearing:

I've been looking through inspirations for what to wear my hair and makeup like all morning. Still not 100% sure.

I was thinking of using mainly golds on my eyes to match the gold buttons on the dress.

As for hair, I want to do some suji but I don't want to spend hours on it only to get angry that it doesn't look perfect and end up abandoning it as usually happens with my suji attempts haha. Anyway, these are the inspirations, there's a bit of suji in there but some simpler styles too.

Look, I'm keeping up with blogging! I just wanted to share with you the lenses I got from iwantcute.com. They are Geo Magic lenses in Green.

This is the difference in my eyes, no makeup with one in and one out. (as you can tell). I already have quite big eyes anyway but you can see a significant difference.

I really loved these lenses. I love the colour and how big they make your eyes. They are quite comfortable but I am used to wearing lenses now. They do make them a little dry but what lenses don't? Get yourself a good bottle of contact lens eyedrops and you'll be fine.
