My Gyaru Inspirations.

Well guys and gals, I wanted to write a little something about my Gyaru inspirations; I'm talking about the "famous" gals, rather then my inspirations within the "western community". This is going to be quite a long post anyway so bare with me.

These are in no particular order by the way.

Sakurina.

I just love this girl. I love reading her blog and how nice and genuine she seems on there. She's beautiful both inside and out and I think that makes her a great role model. As for her style? I love how it's "alternative" but still gyaru. I like the fact she can wear her trademark rokku style but still then wear the more girly and femine styles and look gorgeous still. I know I'm not the only one who adores her anyway.

Izumi Mana.

I know there's some debate about AV Gals but I love them. I don't see anything wrong with porn and even though most people believe that some-how it's degrading to women, I think it empowers them, shows how desirable they are. But this isn't a porn debate, it's about inspirations and here's why Izumi Mana is an inspiration to me: I think she's cute, her make up is the style I love, her tan is perfect and I think she has a banging body. Out of every "thinspo" picture I've ever seen Izumi Mana tops it. Unf. Haha.

Cocona/Serina.

Again, this girl has had mixed reviews from the community but I love her. I love her bold make-up and her gorgeous tan. I think she's so incredibly sexy and, well... just watch one of her videos and you'll understand. As far as her style? I like the fact she can be casual but still pull of looking Gyaru. I think she's got a bit of the old style that I love the most.

Yuri - D.I.A. Staff.

So I don't know anything about this girl personally other then I always see her on Tumblr, her codenote is a gold-mine of inspiration and she works at D.I.A. Her outfits always look flawless, everything she wears is a total want for me. Her tan is gorgeous, her hair is my "dream" colour, and length for that matter and her nails are ah-may-zing. She's my favourite inspiration I think as her style is exactly what I'd love to achieve. Maybe one day?

Himena Osaki.

She's not Ora Ora but she's flawless and you can't deny it. I love her Hime/Agejo mix and she has always been a massive inspiration to me. She makes me want to go all Hime whenever I see her. Her style is gorgeous and her hair always looks beautiful and her make-up is a huge source of inspiration to me; I usually try and imitate her make-up style most days.

Yumachi.

I would include Aina in this list as she used to be a huge inspiration to me but her style has changed recently and no longer wears anything that really inspires me, however Yumachi just seems to be getting better and better. Her eye make up is more toned-down then I usually like but she still looks gorgeous. In fact Yumachi was my first inspiration when I started getting into the style and she still continues to inspire me today.

Mipochi.

She's just perfect ok? A perfect example of Ora Ora style and the fact she's in both Egg and Soul Sister (my two favourite magazines) proves that. I love the fact that she has a piercing as well because far too many gals in the community say it's no place for piercings... those people should really read through Soul Sister haha.

Risa.

Last gal I'm going to talk about is Risa. I love her because her outfits are simple but still look gyaru. I think she is a great inspiration for Western gals who don't really want to import everything they wear because the items in her co-ordinates are the types of things you could easily find on the highstreet over here, proving you don't have to wear Japanese Gyaru brands to pull off the look. Her tan is gorgeous too; I think it helps makes her entire look.

So that's my main Gyaru inspirations. What do you think? Hopefully this post will go to inspire some of you like it inspires me.

OMG I got an interview.

I use OMG too much (;>д<).

I got myself an interview. OMG OMG OMG (there it is again). This is an especially huge deal for me as I've been out of work for a while due to my anxiety problems. I had to leave my last job because of them and, finally, I think I may be ready to sort my life out. Things have got so much better in my life, moving out, getting a serious relationship with someone who treats me right, friends who care and support me; I definitely feel like this could be the right time. I probably wouldn't have applied before discussing things with my doctor but this company does work that I really support and I would love to be behind it (*゚▽゚*).
I'm a little apprehensive about it though, I know so many people are going for this position and because of the fact I've only done a 2 week temp job in the past 2 years because of my illness I am probably bottom of the pack but I know I can do this job, I want to do this job and I have the right experience and the motivation to do it. I just hope they can see that.

Anyway, some less personal stuff here; I've posted this on twitter and Tumblr but I'd like to explain a little about it, my eye-make for yesterday.

I'm actually pretty proud of it. I followed the following (follow, follow) tutorial from Soul Sister Volume 4.  The scan is by Sukebans @ Tumblr. Follow her for some amazing OraOra-style inspiration (I can now see that my eyelash is coming off slightly but shhh, it's just an illusion).

I acutally LOVE soul sister ヾ(*≧∀≦*)ノ. It's exactly to my tastes and I love the fact that the girls are of all different sizes and varieties. There isn't just the skinny models in there, there's thick, thin and in-between gals and they all look gorgeous. I think that's seriously inspirational and shows that anyone can be Gyaru and look good in it, no matter what their body type or what G_S seems to say.

I have one last thing to talk about and that is CodeNote.jp. I may be completely behind the times but it's a really great site where Japanese girls and guys post their outfits. They have a huge community on there and one thing I love is that you can search for a brand and it shows you co-ordinates with items from that brand in it. If you haven't been on there then go now, so many inspirational outfits to look at.

Omg look who it is!

Hello Guys and Gals. I have to apologise for my absence. I've been going through a pretty hard time in my personal life and I've really had no time for Gyaru nevermind time to blog. I won't go into it but I've been quite ill and I needed some time to heal, you know?
Either way, I'm back here now, hopefully to stay rather than just one post for the next few months haha. (ฅ'ω'ฅ)♪

Firstly I want to post a few things from our trip to Dunston Hall! I've been wanting to go there since I first moved to Norfolk, all those years ago. My boyfriend's mum found an increadibly cheap deal online for it and paid for a 2 night break for us for my boyfriend's birthday.

When we got there we were upgraded to a deluxe room. This has never happened to either of us before so we were pretty excited. I was just completely in awe of the place, right from the entrance hall.

Our room was absolutely gorgeous. This picture doesn't do it justice. I really cannot get across how massive that bed was. We almost needed walkie talkies to talk to each other if we laid on either side of it haha (had to put in that silly picture of my boyfriend drinking his hot choccy lol) ♡(*>▽<*)♥
The breakfast... OMG the breakfast. I ate so much the first day I thought I was going to die! The breakfast room had the most epic lampshades I've ever seen. They were actually amazing.

The breakfast is what my boyfriend had. Being vegetarian I didn't dare with any of the cooked stuff, in case they'd shared a pan with any meat, so I went with the continental option and filled myself up on pastries and cereal; this was probably my downfall. (。-_-。)
We had free access to the pool and sauna facilities. Because it was off-peak and we chose to go later in the day, the first night we had the whole pool to ourselves basically. One person came in to swim for about 20 mins but otherwise it was just the two of us.

We had a meal there on one night and wow... I was so pleased with it. For once, they had a vegetarian menu that I actually wanted to eat. Usually I just have to make-do with whatever is on there because everything else has meat in. I had a goats cheese and red onion filo tart for starter and then a wild mushroom risotto for main then we took out a chocolate tart from room service for pudding. Yum Yum.

The only thing was that the goat's cheese had a tiny bit of the wrapper still on it! We said something to the waitress and the Manager of the hotel came out and told us we would get my starter for free! (๑´ω`๑)
Although I obviously don't like finding plastic in my food, the food was still amazing and the fact that the manager came out to apologise himself and not just sending a waiter/tress out really impressed me.
Also, all of the pictures of me from the entire trip are full of herp-derp and I took the wrong bloody bag with me which means most of my make up and my circle lenses were not in my possession. Mega Annoyed.

The day we left it had started snowing for the first time this winter in England. Looking out over the golf course that morning was gorgeous and incredibly romantic. I actually didn't want to leave and neither did my boyfriend but it was back to our little flat and our (now) incredibly small bed.

So yeah, that's about all I have to show you of our trip. I'm sorry for the distinct lack of Gyaru in this. My confidence has taken a little bit of a hit but I'll try and post more things from now on. I just need a little molly-coddling at the minute, until I start to feel a little better about myself.
Anywho, it's nice to be back. I can't wait to go through all the blogs I follow again and catch up with all of you.

I'd like you to recommend me some blogs as well. I follow quite a few but I'd like to follow some more and get a bit more involved in the community again, you know? So yeah, tell me your blogs and your favourite blogs in the comments please!
(*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡
