I've decided to do a monthly thing for my 4 favourite magazines (Ageha, Ranzuki, Egg and Popteen) that I'll pick out my favourite co-ordinates and post them on here.
The way I started learning to co-ordinate and still do, to some extent, is to look through the magazines and pick out co-ordinates I like I try and put together something similar with the items already in my closet or, in fact, buying new ones. Whenever I go shopping, still to this day, I do it with particular co-ordinates in my head and try to re-create those in my own style and my own way using the items I can find on the highstreet or on the internet. I personally think this is a great way to get into the style. I know a lot of gals criticise "copying" but that is fashion, at the end of the day, you "copy" what you see in the magazines or what inspires you and add your own flare to it. As long as you dont go out and buy those EXACT items and style them EXACTLY the same way then I think you're ok ( ^∇^).
So anyway, these are my top 10 from the January Issue of Ranzuki.

I LOVE this whole nordic thing at the moment. I know that by the time summer comes the trend will be gone forever but I like lapping it up while it's here.
Pom Poms, white fur, cape, what more could you need? I'm so fond of all the white around at the minute.
Nordic prints and a poncho, what more could you need? I love the simplicity of this outfit.
I LOVE these hat/scarf things that are in at the moment. I think they're just fantastic. The more I see them, the more I want them.
I love the "princess" look to this outfit and those boots are just to die for.
This is a co-ord I LOVE but would never be able to pull off. Completely not my style but it's so edgy and different that I fell in love with it.
I love how minimal and sexy this outfit is. It's so simple but it caught my eye immediately.
I love this poncho and you know my poncho love already. I love it paired with the cute little ears.
I've always had a secret love for tartan but I always seem to pair it with black. I love the idea of the grey and tartan seen here and I just love the beret.
Fur, tartan, tan. Love it. Need I say more?
My closing thoughts on this issue:
I wasn't amazingly inspired by this month's ranzuki. It used to be pretty much my favourite mag but I see less and less that really inspires me. I dont know if that's my taste that's changed or if what's featured is going a way I dont really like. I always find that there are one or two looks that catch my eye and the rest are repeats of pretty much the same sort of co-ordinates but slightly different. I found this issue was no exception to that rule, though, the looks I did like I really loved so I guess that helps.
OMG THOSE BOOTS *_*
ReplyDeleteI know, right! The boots are gorgeous.
